The intenSatiTM Team

Patricia Moreno

Patricia Moreno
Founder, intenSati Life LLC
Patricia Moreno is one of the most respected fitness instructors today. With more than 20 years experience as a dynamic fitness instructor, she has been a pioneer in the industry. Teaching at the prestigious Equinox Fitness Clubs in New York City, Patricia has a devoted following of students who swear by her intenSatiTM, danceSatiTM, yogaSatiTM, coreSatiTM and warriorSatiTM classes. Patricia’s enthusiasm, energy and dedication to constantly improving the workout are infectious. Patricia is recognized as an elite instructor within the industry as well: she teaches her techniques to other instructors worldwide, and she has been honored by her peers at training conventions worldwide. In addition, the press, including Allure, Shape, and W magazines, as well as The New York Sun and ABC News, have recognized her unique talent.

The creation of the intenSati workout is evidence that Patricia leads new fitness trends pushes the boundaries: intenSati combines the best of group fitness with the elements of yoga and life coaching to create a new workout that is exactly right for our times, combining both physical and spiritual disciplines to create excellent results. Several years ago, Patricia began to feel that there needed to be a better, more inspiring way to teach group classes. A fitness instructor’s worst nightmare is teaching a room full of sweating zombies, and when Patricia realized that nothing was motivating her students — even in fun classes with great music — she knew she had to find something different to offer. At about the same time, she’d begun to study and practice yoga on her own, and she had sought out a life coach. It wasn’t long before she was teaching yoga and became a life coach herself; when she fused these two new disciplines with group fitness, intenSati emerged. The huge positive response, including glowing faces and tales of transformation from her students, convinced Patricia that she had found something amazing. Participants walked out of these classes with a different level of empowerment and anecdotal evidence of its life-changing powers began to emerge. Her devoted students know that this is a breakthrough program that delivers on this promise to allow students to harness the power of the mind to achieve the potential of the body.

Patricia’s Journey
Although you won’t believe it if you saw her now, Patricia did not grow up fit and healthy. In fact, like many, many women, she struggled with her weight and eating disorders. She’s one of 11 children, and although her family didn’t provide her with a fitness-oriented environment, she was lucky to have a father who introduced her to the Silva Mind System methods when she was an adolescent when an illness that almost cost her arm was abated when she and her father applied this power of positive thinking, and experience that left her a believer in these methods.

Recognition
Patricia has been named Best Fitness Instructor by Allure Magazine and New York Magazine twice. Her peers agree too: in March 2006 Patricia was named Presenter of the year at this year's ECA (one of the largest fitness conventions of the year). She is the co-creator of Powerstrike Kickboxing and Powerstrike IMPACT.  She’s often a headlining presenter at Nike events, IDEA, ECA, etc. She recently returned from the Nike Conference in Stockholm and will be presenting at Nike Denmark in September.

Sponsorship
Patricia has just been asked to be a Reebok sponsored athlete.
